We are a registered Charitable Trust established in 1967.

The Personal Advocacy and Safeguarding Adults Trust provides a range of Safeguarding services and supports for Adults with care and support needs in New Zealand.

Ongoing Advocacy

Advocates establish a long term relationship of proactive support with the person. This includes our legacy Lifetime Advocacy service (no longer offered).

Short Term Advocacy

Focuses on resolving a specific issue or crisis.

Support for Decision Making

Free independent support available in Mana Whaikaha (Mid-Central) and Enabling Good Lives demonstrations (Waikato and Christchurch)

Discretionary Trust Management

Affordable management and safeguarding of trust funds on people of people receiving support.

Safeguarding Adults Response

An integrated multi-agency approach to safeguarding adults at risk of or experiencing harm, abuse or neglect.

Wellbeing Support for Survivors of Abuse

Free wellbeing support for Survivors of abuse with learning disabilities, neurodiversity or other cognitive impairments.
